PROMISES AND VOWS

When creating your promises to eachother, I recommend that the couples answer the following questions:
1. Where did you first lay eyes on each other?
2. Why did you choose this person out of 100 others?
3. What make them so special to you?
4. What is your hope for your marriage together?
5. What promise can you give to them now?

These questions are just a few to get the ideas flowing to help you create your own special promises today.
But if you are like so many who hate to do this type of "mushy stuff" we take the guess work out of it for you.
Here are some samples that others have written for their vows.

(These are our most popular)

1.
Kody, repeat after me please sir
:

Tiffany, I thank God for bringing you into my life

I choose you this day ,  to be my wife ,

my love and my best friend

I commit myself to you – openly, exclusively, and eternally

I promise you my unconditional love

I give you my unwavering trust,

and I will share my life with you

all the days of my life

Tiffany, repeat after me:

Kody, I accept you as the one God has chosen for me

I join with you now

To share all that life may bring us.

I  will be yours

through weakness and strength

Through sorrow and joy

Through failure and triumph

I give my love to you and you alone

With all my heart soul

Now forever and always.

2.

At this time, Wade, will you repeat after me sir:
Samantha,

I’ve been blessed to know you I thank God for bringing you into my life

I choose you this day to be my wife, my love and my best friend.
You have given me more love than words could ever express.
I commit myself to you and you alone.
I promise you my unconditional love.  I give you my unwavering trust.
Today, I promise to love you and provide for you all the days of my life.

For this is my vow to you.

And Samantha will you repeat after me please:

Wade,

I accept you as the one God has chosen for me;
today I take you to be my husband, and my best friend.
I join with you now to share all that life may bring us.
I will be yours through weakness and in strength
through sorrow and in joy through failure and in triumphs

For this is my vow to you.
